Blue Corn Festival shines in Southwest storytelling

Blue Corn Festival is a monthlong celebration honoring Indigenous foodways, art, storytelling, and community. This annual event brings together families, creators, educators, and community members for a vibrant, intergenerational experience. This year, our 2026 festival was a HUGE success! We can't thank AZ Humanities and Smithsonian Folklife enough for their support. We can’t wait for next year’s celebration! Check out the recap video to hear more about the impact of the project, what Blue Corn means on a cultural level, and more.
