NDN Girls Book Club featured on NBC’s Today Show

Best friends Kinsale Drake and Lily Painter join TODAY's Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones to talk about their book club that spotlights Native storytelling and Indigenous authors. With less than one percent of Native published authors, the ladies are on a mission to "make sure that Native voices are breaking through that barrier." The club now hosts pop-up events, distributes books and even created a mobile book bus to make Indigenous literature more accessible.

The Book Club is currently rounding out their fundraiser for their Bookmobile, which will be hitting the road this Spring 2027. Help them meet their goal by donating directly!
