INTRODUCING: Yiłta! Book Drop

NDN Girls Book Club is ecstatic to partner with 4Kinship, Abalone Mountain Press, and Cellular One, which serves much of the Navajo Nation, to bring an incredible four stop literary journey to the Navajo Nation this April!

Yiłta!, meaning I read it! in Dine Bizaad (the Navajo Language), aims to increase literacy and literary opportunities for Navajo (Diné) people, promote intergenerational storytelling, and language conservation.

Non-Native publishers are encouraged to send in-kind donations of books by Native authors; please email NDN Girls Book Club for a receiving address of bulk books and receipt info for tax-deductible donations.
